What the W4 x L5.9 m Oval Capsule Is Best For

Stepping up to a 4 m width is the change that turns a capsule into a genuine room: 20.1 m² on a W4 m × L5.9 m plan, in a single module. There is no splice joint to seal and no second shell to assemble — one crate, one build, one continuous glazed space.

A family suite

At 4 m wide a bed can sit parallel to the side wall with real circulation on both sides, leaving the long glazed face free for a seating or dining zone. That layout is hard to achieve in the narrower capsules, where furniture tends to be pushed against the glass.

When one shell beats two

If your requirement is under about 20 m², this single-module route is usually simpler on site than a spliced unit: fewer parts, one door, one continuous roof line, and no junction between shells to weatherproof. The longer 4 × 7.8 m version adds 7.6 m² when you want two separate internal zones.
